How does one deal with false perceptions from another person?

If a person sees something they think you are doing but you are not really there, but elsewhere, however, the circumstances appear that you are where this person thinks you are.......how do you deal with this? How does one defend themselves against false perception? How does one deal with false perceptions from another person?
I think you are obligated to inform the person of his error. Not to would be an injustice to yourself and the other party. Approach him in a calm way and explain the situation bring any proof or witnesses to him if you can. Good luck. How does one deal with false perceptions from another person?
It's your perception that their perception is false. It's our nature to assign blame when things get uncomfortable. Not a bad thing, but if it's the context you truly care about, (rather than having the communication of it) then maybe you should be willing to be wrong. Perceptions are just that ';perceptions';, what's so intimidating about that?
By respecting your own beliefs. If you always change yourself for others sake, what have you left of your own self? http://ie.youtube.com/user/yogameditatio鈥?/a>
You say, ';I'm sorry, you are mistaken.'; And change the subject.
If I understand your question it would seem the other person might have lost touch with reality. I have seen this happen myself.
